===================
Thanks for downloading TICK0131.ZIP! Hopefully you will enjoy the new
Searchlight door as much as Dave and I have enjoyed programming it.
Before progressing to placing your new door online, you must know a little
about the door.
Tick Tack Ohhhh Noooo! is cloned after the TV Game Show, Tic Tac Dough.
The object of the bonus round in this game is to collect $1000 before
hitting the dragon. If you hit the dragon, you become bankrupt and lose
the game. Random money cards are located beneath 6 squares. A TIC and a
TAC are located beneath 2 of the squares. The dragon is under the last
square. Picking up TIC and TAC gives you $1000 automatically and wins the
game. The maximum score a user can obtain is $1950. As soon as the high
score list has all slots filled with $1950 scores, you can either kill
TICK.USE and TICK.HIG to start over, or you can leave the scoreboard up and
have a list of the CURRENT users with $1950 as their score. Tick Tack Ohhhh
Noooo! replaces a user with same score as you do, and places you before him.
That way, the list will never stop changing!
This software is FreeWare, and not intended to be sold under any
circumstances. Also, since this software is FreeWare, we are still asking
for donations. ($10.00 is reasonable). Please make any checks or money
orders payable to David Segulin and send to:

Easy View, can be obtained through Gemini via (216) 655-7709.
On to the real info! Your DOORS.DEF file should look like:
2;0;1;<access>;Tick Tack Ohhhh Noooo!;<path>;TICK.EXE %G 3 %U
| | |
| | |
| | |
| Set <path> to your door's directory |
Set <access> to your preference. |
Maximum plays allowed/day, 0 = Unlimited
Tick Tack Ohhhh Noooo! creates 2 files: TICK.USE and TICK.HIG. The first
file is compiled of the user's usage per day, which can be changed by the
2nd parameter showed in the above diagram. The second files is compiled
with User High Scores (10 max - cannot be altered). This is not in an
Ascii/text format, so Sysop Cheating will not happen.
(Hopefully, in a later version, we will invoke a Ascii/text & Ansi file to
be created for System Bulletins and/or messages!)
To my knowledge, this program is BUG FREE, but doesn't everyone say that?
If you DO happen to find problems (Heaven Forbid!), please call Dave voice
DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS at (216) 468-1015, or leave mail to the Sysop on
Gemini BBS at (216) 655-7709. A new update will be released and all
information about the bug will be distributed along with the founder's
name in the next version.
Please help us promote our new product by uploading it to other local area
bulletin boards. Personally, this would take years, that's why I ask YOU.
Special Thanks to: Mirror Image BBS and Underground Empire BBS in
Cleveland for helping us Beta Test our software, Toby Foote for writing
this documentation, and David Segulin for writing another quality door!
